My business career involved management positions in the medical laboratory field; during which I founded and grew a consulting company. Rewarding as that career was, photography became an increasing passion. When I sold the consulting firm it allowed me to focus on photography.
You will see from my galleries there is a wide range of image types. Some images are in a traditional detailed style and some more decoratively compelling. My abilities as an image maker was enhanced through workshops and discussions with leading photographer/ educators like: Bryan Peterson, Tim Grey, Matt Suess, Suzanne Mathia, Steve Dell, Jeff Maltzman and Kerrick James. In addition, I have been active with camera clubs, and recognized for excellence in my work.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my work.
My photography is inspired primarily by the aesthetic forms of nature - sky, land and water scapes, the Divine designs in the animal kingdom, but also the line and color appeal created by the hand of man.
The primary equipment I use is Canon cameras and a mix of Canon and other lenses. Primary processing is performed with Adobe Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and other specialty softwares. But as important as anything is being out shooting before sunrise and after sunset!
My entire career was in the medical laboratory industry, working in sales, marketing and general management positions. After a two year assignment in London, England as Managing Director of a laboratory firm, I returned to the U.S. and started a consulting company, serving it as CEO. Our organization grew to 60 employees before my partners and I accepted an offer to sell the company we couldn't refuse.
